Say What?
I am by no stretch of the imagination ever going to be a geneticist. But I find this article completely bewildering. Scientists are claiming to have isolated the gene responsible for a love of the sea.
I mean, really?
Genetic determinism is really a bizarre thing to me. I don't but into it at all - particularly efforts like this to link genes to predilections or preferences. Apparently this brings some people a sense of comfort. I don't know.
