Garbage In, Garbage Out
Aside from the heavy Catholic rhetoric and references, this is a good article that describes how difficult it can be to talk about things that really matter.
If you just focus on the three recommendations that the author gives, you're moving a long ways towards questioning the philosophical, ethical and even theological assumptions that are pushed on us from early childhood (if you don't believe me, sit and watch a few episodes of Sesame Street or any other young children's programming). Everything is presented in personal terms, with the ultimate goal being that we tolerate every person's point of view, practice, or what have you.
Of course, this is impossible. I've talked about this quite a bit, so I won't rehash it here, beyond reminding us that the tolerance movement is simply a warm & fuzzy sounding juggernaut crushing anyone who objects to the basic tenets of relativism. As such, we need to be very careful about adopting it's assumptions, language, and way of thinking. Which means we have to actively train ourselves to think and speak differently. This is a never-ending process. Enjoy!

It's not a toilet bowl, Justine, nor did I or would I ever imply that. Simmer down, thar! It's more of a fish tank in need of some cleaning ;-p And we'd probably disagree about how holy the water in the tank is....hmmm.
