Lazy

I like to say that I'm lazy - a concern of my since I was often characterized in that manner in my high school days.  It's not something that I still really believe, but more of a reflexive response whenever I find that I'm lacking the motivation to do something that needs to be done.  Having survived graduate school while teaching full-time and attempting to create, sustain, and then disband a communal living experiment, I don't for a minute really believe I'm lazy.  But some reflexes get ingrained deeply without us knowing.

So I feel lazy, because I need to move this blog off of this awful looking GoDaddy site and onto something more respectable.  This has served me well as I was getting into the groove (slowly, because - wait for it - I'm lazy) of regular blogging.  I've been blogging off and on for eight years now, and I've utilized two platforms for it.  But only in the past few months have I reached a level of consistency that I'm happy with.  And now that there are a couple of folks reading this thing and commenting from time to time, it would be nice to continue the pursuit of a more communal blog site.

I'm eying WordPress, but curious if anyone else has any strong preferences.  I don't mind paying a little, it just needs to look better than this thing does.
